“Koi Pond” is a mixed media piece using acrylic paint, acrylic ink and textile thread. The painting measures 24″ x 36.” Created with acrylic paint for the underpainting done in multiple colors, and acrylic ink layered over it, along with the thread, it gives this painting the three dimensional look I was seeking. The acrylic inks along with the textile thread creates movement like a stream from aquatic plants.
