Painted on a cotton canvas, using purple and green colors, and broad sweeping strokes, I wanted to capture what it is like to be curious and explore. “Green Purple Journey” has a childlike quality to it, which reminds me of something out of Dr. Seuss book; it’s the whimsical nature that I was after for the viewer to explore and experience.
