“Celebration” was created on a 24″ x 24″ cotton canvas using acrylic inks. The geometric underpainting was created in multiple colors and textures, which wraps around to all four sides of the canvas. I layered on top of the geometric underpainting with swirls of color by blowing the inks using different techniques. I repeated this process, layering the painting until I had the look I wanted. Viewers have looked at this piece like a garden full of flowers in bloom, or fireworks in the sky.
