I’m taking an online course with Jason Gorbett, Futurama writer. He emphasized the importance of going with the flow of creativity and taking it wherever it takes you.
As a writer, I’m very familiar with this creative burst that can literally strike at any moment and can take many forms.
Sometimes I see things as a movie script, as an animated piece, as a novel, a short story, a children’s story or a play. The vehicle used to tell that story changes with that creative energy that forms and pours out.
I love those bursts. Because no matter what is around or surrounds me, I’m lost in the creativity.
That is my high.
I can always reach higher when I sit in my creativity and just create what isn’t yet there.
In the upcoming week, I will post more about the importance, and how to achieve, creative flow.
