Slate Blue

Bring the joy of the holidays with this hand painted ornament using the Hinterglasmalerei technique. “Slate Blue” is a glass ornament, which I created to capture the colors of earth’s elements like slate, rocks and geodes. This is a 3″ diameter ornament (over 7 cm) created using the Hinterglasmalarei technique. Accented with purple Offray ribbon and a silver top, this ornament has a “cascading” effect when light comes through the slate blue, turquoise, white, and purple.
