Candied Package

Bring the joy of the holidays with this hand painted ornament using the Hinterglasmalerei technique. This square glass ornament has colors of pearl white, magenta, crimson and iridescent purple and blue. Due to the unique combinations of colors, there are parts that look yellow with a burnt sienna undertone. I created this ornament to look like highly glossed candy. This ornament is complemented with a silver-colored top and a pink ribbon, and would make a special and unique Christmas gift this holiday season. The ornament is approximately a 2″ (6cm) square.
