Hello New Year,
Beginning with what I wrote in my last blog in 2013—about giving myself permission to write it wrong—I’d like to say that gives me relief writing my novel.
It is through free writing that provides me the biggest assistance I need. It’s during this process I learn what works, and what doesn’t, for my story; it helps to organize my ideas and learn the sequence of the story’s events.
What I receive from free writing is my inner voice guiding me through feeling and words.
Completing my novel is one of the most important things to do for 2014, with so much of what I have planned for the year centered around it.
That’s what I hope everyone will do for the New Year—reach for the brass ring!
